Training for Airbox and AS-Interface
We offer demonstrations and informal training, locally near Southampton or on your premises. Training is hands on using "live" compressed air, a single AS-Interface network, and all versions of Airbox. The objectives at each session can be tailored to your specific requirements but should include:
- Basics of AS-Interface, an overview and comparison with conventional hard wiring.
- Operation of pneumatic cylinders using Airboxes.
- Start/Stop/E-Stop + Reset
- Use of auxiliary (pilot) air
- Operational hints + most frequent mistakes.

For formal qualifications in AS-Interface technology we recommend the course operated by Dr Andy Verwer (email:a.verwer@mmu.ac.uk) at Manchester Metropolitan University.
