Profibus Valve Islands

Kuhnke can supply pneumatic valve islands with integral Profibus DP or CANopen communications. Kuhnke valve islands are custom built to meet your specific requirements.

Pneumatics:

• From the Kuhnke standard LPP700 range
• Any mix of valves, up to 22 coils per valve island
• 5/2 monostable, or bistable with/without priority
• 5/3 all ports closed/open/pressurised
• 3/2 double valves, normally closed or normally open
• 15mm body width LPP770 (600-800NL/mm)
• 18mm body width LPP772 (700-1200NL/mm)
• External pilot versions for lower pressures and soft start

Electronics:

• Profibus DP or CANopen bus interface
• Profibus DP slave supports 12Mbit/sec baud rate

Assembly:

• IP65 CE marked
• Din rail mounted

 

Inputs:

Kuhnke valve islands are stand alone slaves configured as digital outputs, custom built without inputs. A separate slave (from the Kuhnke 690 / 691 PLC range) should be used for the inputs. Typically there are 2 inputs for every output, but that is just a guide figure. The number of inputs associated with a Kuhnke valve island might be anything between 4 and 44. A Kuhnke PLC is available with 8DI, 16DI or 32DI with extension modules available.
