Introduced in 2007 for use with AS-i 2.1 and 3.0 these 6 models of EASi AirBox effectively double the number of Airboxes that you can use on a single AS-i network.

There are 2 models of EASi AirBox 1, and 4 of EASi AirBox 32, all based on the standard I/O footprint in use today (Siemens K45 size), You have the choice of yellow cable only, or yellow and black cable versions, and of filtered or tube exhausts. All are monostable, with 2 off independent pneumatic outputs (3/2 function). These A/B addressable versions have the same functionality, features and benefits of the standard Airbox 1 and Airbox 32.

 

Important!

EASi AirBox brings the full benefit of 62 node network capacity that AS-i level 2.1 and 3.0 offer. They will work with both specifications of AS-i Masters, by using the extended addressing node 1A/B to 31A/B. For V2.0 systems, use standard Airbox. The EASi AirBox range is being introduced to complement the extensive range of standard Airboxes on a phased model by model basis. EASi AirBox is not directly interchangeable with standard Airbox, for example when replacing slaves on existing networks (the ID codes are different). You can easily combine standard Airboxes and EASi Airboxes on any new or re-configured network with AS-i 2.1 or 3.0 masters. The standard Airboxes will however occupy both A + B addresses if you do this.
